Frequently asked questions

How do you vet developers and designers?

Every candidate clears a live coding or portfolio review, a reference check, and a paid trial week on a real task before they join your project. We reject the vast majority of applicants — you get the top 1%, not a filtered job board.

What does "we assume the risk for nonperformance" mean?

If a vetted hire does not perform to the standard we promised, we replace them at no extra cost. You are not stuck covering a bad match. That guarantee is why founders chose us when a bad hire would have been costly.

How much does it cost?

Developers and designers start at $1,000 per week. Billing is month-to-month with no long-term lock-in. Schedule a call and we will quote based on the roles and timeline you need.

Is there a trial period?

Yes. You can try a vetted hire for 30 days without a long-term commitment. If it is not the right fit, you walk away — no penalty.

Do I hire individuals or a full team?

Both. Some clients add one senior developer to an existing squad. Others need a small team to ship a finished product. On the call we figure out which model fits your timeline and budget.

What is included beyond the developer's time?

Team management and technical support are included. We handle onboarding, check-ins, and escalation so you are not managing a remote contractor alone.

How fast can someone start?

Most matches happen within a week of your intro call. Urgent needs get priority — tell us your deadline on the qualifier form and we will be direct about what is realistic.

Who owns the code and IP?

You do. Work product created for your project belongs to your company. We use standard assignment language in our agreements so there is no ambiguity.

What time zones do your developers work in?

We place talent that overlaps with your working hours. US-based clients typically get 4–6 hours of direct overlap minimum. Specify your timezone on the book-a-call form.

Can you deliver the finished product instead of staffing my team?

Yes. Some founders want developers embedded in their Slack. Others want us to scope, build, and hand off a shipped product. We cover both paths on How It Works — the call is where we pick the right one.

Do you have Cursor or Claude experts?

Yes. We place AI-native engineers who ship with Cursor, Claude, and Copilot in production — vetted on review discipline, not tab-complete speed. See dedicated hire pages for Cursor developers and Claude engineers, or filter profiles on the developer directory.

Can your developers integrate new AI models without breaking production?

That is what we optimized for on consumer AI products like Magicshot.ai — weekly model changes, billing, and fallbacks. Our LLM engineers are matched for routing, evals, and cost control, not one-off demos.
